Copylandia’s Superior Prints Promo culminates at CEAP national meet
Superior Prints Promo 2009 culminated at the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines’ (CEAP)National Convention held from September 15 to 18, 2009 at Manila Hotel. Launched in July 2009, this promo offers the best deals for educational institutions to own up-to-date digital machines and office equipments.
The national convention formally opened in September 16 after the ribbon cutting ceremony of the exhibit area at Manila Hotel’s Centennial Hall. Highlight of the morning’s program was the Keynote Address of His Excellency, Most Rev. Edward Joseph Adams, D.D.Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines. He talked about the value of stewardship and how it will make a difference in the future leaders of our country.
At the end of the first day, CEAP hosted a dinner tribute for the late former President Corazon Aquino. Mr. Nico Mercader, CEAP Advocacy and Communications Manager explained that the dinner tribute was a celebration of Mrs. Corazon Aquino’s life and legacy. A product of Catholic education, St. Scholastica’s and Assumption, Mrs. Aquino was brought up in an environment of service.
A quiet lady with a big heart, Tita Cory, as she was fondly called by majority of the Filipinos, was a servant through and through. Upon the death of her husband, Sen. Ninoy Aquino, she humbly accepted the responsibility of bringing up their children and running the Philippines after more than two decades of dictatorship. She was smart. She was brave. Above all, she was faithful.
A celebration is not complete without good music. Ms. Sally Jo Bellosillo of Aelestis Productions, directed the show and dinner tribute. Guest performers include Jose Mari Chan, Jamie Rivera and Kuh Ledesma. Ms. Bellosillo said that these artists were personal favorites of the Aquino family and that they were very touched to hear these artists sing.
The late former President Corazon Aquino was an embodiment of service and responsibility. CEAP awarded her a posthumous recognition for her outstanding leadership and excellent citizenship.Sen. Noynoy Aquino accepted the award in behalf of the Aquino family.
The second day focused on lecture series conducted by officers, administrators, directors and school heads from Ateneo de ManilaUniversity, University of Asia and the Pacific, Miriam College, LaConsolacion College, Ayala Foundation, Professional Regulatory Commission and National Book Development Board among others.
During the last day of the convention, guests and participants got a hands-on experience using the various machines and equipment displayed at the exhibit area.
