Copylandia – the Copy and Print Shop, which is being managed by the Copylandia Services & Trading,Inc. (CSTI), had its humble beginning in 1990 with opening of its very first outlet in the country’s premier business district – Makati. It was along Herrera Street, particularly at the Cityland Condominium III, where the seed of what soon became a proverbial word in the quick-print industry was first sowed.

Copylandia’s rise to prominence is a story not written overnight. Like other business ventures, it was not invulnerable to economic hardships. It endured period of ordeals which are part and parcel of a striving organization. But the triumph of human spirit and pursuit of excellence certainly made the difference.

Two years after it was established, the number of printshops grew to thirteen, ten of which are in Makati, one in Greenhills and two more in Quezon City. The opening of these branches proved to be potent as they answered the growing demand for printing and photocopying services. Furthermore, Copylandia was able to expand its market by catering to the needs of the business and commercial sectors.

Between 1991 and 1992, the country’s economic condition dramatically improved with the influx of foreign investors who were scouting for local partners in the distribution of their products. One of them were the Japanese who saw the market potential of the printshops. Incidentally, Copylandia was also looking for the right copier brands that would yield premium quality results to satisfy its discriminating clientele. It was during this time when Copylandia was awarded an exclusive marketing accord to distribute SELEX and RISOGRAPH, leading Japanese copier and duplicator brands. Thus, on March 17, 1993, Copylandia Office Systems Corporation was established as the exclusive distributor of SELEX and RISOGRAPH. In only five years of operation, Copylandia Office Systems Corp., the newest member of the Copylandia Group of Companies was able to establish itself as one of the leading companies in the office equipment trade.

Presently Copylandia Services & Trading, Inc. has 22 branches and several affiliations in the provinces of Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, Dumaguete, Tagbilaran and Ozamis City.
